WASHINGTON D.C. – One person sustained serious injuries late last month in a rollover crash along the interstate in southeast Washington D.C.
The incident occurred the morning of Saturday, July 26, on the westbound side of I-695 near M Street Southeast, which is just north of the Anacostia River and east of the Navy Yard area.
Police haven’t specified the cause of the accident, the number of vehicles involved, or the manner in which the cars impacted. They say that one person was thrown from a vehicle as it rolled.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
