Narrative
WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 66-year-old man died last Tuesday when a vehicle struck him on a sidewalk near Kingman Park.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. near the intersection of C Street Northeast and 16th Street Northeast. This is just northwest of Eliot-Hine Middle School and northeast of Lincoln Park.
Police say that a Nissan sedan struck 66-year-old Ronnie Clark while he was standing with a friend at the curb. Clark sustained fatal injuries.
The driver of the Nissan exited their vehicle and ran from the scene. Police continue to search for the suspect.
