Narrative
WOODBRIDGE, VA – One woman died, and another sustained injuries Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision in eastern Prince William County.
The fatal accident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Minnieville Road and Summit School Road in the city of Woodbridge. This is about 23 miles southwest of Washington D.C.
Police say that a southbound 2020 Honda Accord collided with a northbound 2021 Toyota Highlander when the driver of the Honda made a left turn on yellow.
Medics transported the driver of the Toyota to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
The driver of the Honda, identified as 45-year-old Seema Rizvi, succumbed to her injuries after transport to the hospital.
There’s no word yet regarding charges.
