Narrative
LOUDON CO., VA – A head-on crash on Loudoun County Parkway in Ashburn, Virginia, claimed the lives of three individuals on Wednesday night.
The crash occurred around 10:50 p.m., on the Loudon County Parkway north of Shellhorn Road.
According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, a 2023 Dodge Challenger traveling north on the parkway lost control, crossed the median, and collided head-on with a 2023 Toyota Sienna Washington Flyer taxi.
All three individuals involved, including the Challenger’s 56-year-old driver from Nevada and the two Sienna passengers—a 51-year-old man from Silver Spring and a 66-year-old man from Brambleton—were pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed is suspected to be a contributing factor in the crash.
